Aquil Busrai
Immediate Past National President, NHRDN and Executive Director – HR, IBM India Aquil Busrai, an MBA in HR from XLRI, has worked in various HR roles, both operational and strategic, with Unilever in India and Kenya; with Motorola in Asia Pacific and with Shell in Malaysia. Aquil is currently Director HR at IBM India. Dedicated to the concept of HR professionals being true partner with business leaders, he has played active role in setting up and growing business. M. Gopalakrishna holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and Law from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is a retired officer of the Indian Administrative Service and has served on the Boards of various public sector companies in the capacity of Chairman, Managing Director and Director. He was formerly a Chairman of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), Chairman of REC, Assam Gas Company and other joint sector companies in Andhra Pradesh. Presently, Mr. Gopalakrishna is Director in charge of Andhra Pradesh Gas Power Corporation Limited. Mr. Gopalakrishna joined the company on July 18, 2007. His area of specialization and expertise include Industrial Development, Corporate and organizational development, HR and macro policy formulation.

Sourav Daspatnaik
Regional President - East, NHRDN and Director, HRD and Strategy, Apeejay Surrendra Group Mr.Sourav Daspatnaik is the Director (HRD & Strategy) Apeejay Surrendra Gro .jpg) up and also CEO for the latest Greenfield shipbuilding projects- Bengal Shipyard Limited and Oceanic Shipyard Limited being set up in the states of Orissa and West Bengal.
As a key member of the Group, Mr Daspatnaik has been instrumental in setting up the new businesses of Logistics Park with two green field projects at Kalinganagar(Orissa) and Haldia(West Bengak) As a part of the Group Management Committee he provides strategic planning, governance, human Resources Management and investment guidelines to the different Group Companies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Master of Science (M.S) from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. He has authored several research papers in the journal of the NHRD Network, Institution of Engineers and AIMA Management Review.
Prior to joining Apeejay Surrendra, Sourav Daspatnaik was the Director at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, India. In his career of 23 years, Mr. Daspatnaik has worked with TELCO (Tata Motors), TISCO (Tata Iron & Steel Company Ltd), and Ispat Group and has experience spanning Production Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing & Design, Product development, Marketing and Sales and consulting in the area of Human Resource Management.

Mohit Gandhi
Executive Director – National HRD Network

Mohit Gandhi has a rich experience with leading institutions and private sector companies in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, and corporate communications, with specialization in the human resource domain.
He has worked with India’s apex industry association – the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - as the Director responsible for Human Resources and Industrial Relations national committees, and helped build “Brand CII” through his contribution. At CII, he successfully influenced policy making through effective consensus building among various stakeholders.
Currently he is working as the Executive Director, National HRD Network. He heads the National Secretariat responsible for driving the overall agenda and mission of National HRD Network. He has played a key role in effectively setting-up the following vehicles/verticals at National HRD Network.
I. The 'Learning Centre' and 'Meet a Mentor' initiatives to provide more value to our members
